I'm working or have worked with some interesting groups and people - here's a little about just a few of them
EXPOSED is a coalition of Christian organisations that aims to challenge the global Church, business and governments to highlight the impact of corruption on the poorest of the poor.
The aim is to engage with 100 million people across the globe and to gather 1 million signatures on the Global Call to End Corruption (sign here http://www.exposed2013.com/). The EXPOSED year will culminate in October 2013 with a week of Vigils for the poor (14-20 Oct) with a hoped for 2,000 vigils across the world.
Having worked on the initial launch of the campaign (Oct 2012) and the start of the second phase/resources launch (March 2013) I am now engaged as a part time freelance media consultant, as part of the London-based EXPOSED team working on Communications and Media strategy and delivery. Follow EXPOSED on Twitter #exposed2013 and on Facebook.
The Salvation Army is renowned around the world (in more than 120 countries) for it's work with homeless and marginalised people, families and those struggling with the challenges of life. But it's MUCH more than that, as I was reminded when I worked on an important book for The Salvation Army in the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
I project managed and co-authored 'Portraits: A Month in the Life of The Salvation Army', a high quality hardback book containing images showing life in The Salvation Army today. The book contains more than 500 images, all taken during October 2011, mostly by people involved at grassroots within the church and charity organisation. My role was first to motivate people to send images and notes, and all relevant clearance/permission forms, and then to manage the receipt of images and a number of professional images commissioned for the book. Explantory text was written including inspirational quotes from the founders of The Salvation Army William and Catherine Booth, and from those now living their legacy in the UK and the Republic of Ireland. My role continued through to marketing the book on launch at the end of May 2012.

More Than Gold was a charity set up to help churches serve their communities and international visitors during the Olympic and Paralympic Games which were held in London and across the UK in 2012.
From January 2012 I worked with the More Than Gold communications team, first to help promote its Get Set tour which prepared churches for involvement in the Olympics, Paralympics and Torch Relay - I was specifically working on regional (secular) press and media contacts - and helping to promote the agency's work in the run up to the Summer Games. During the Olympic Games, I worked as part of the More Than Gold Communications and Media Hub promoting initiatives and activities being organised by church and Christian agencies directly into the British (and where appropriate international) media.
