In May 1912, just a few months before his death, the Founder of The Salvation Army General William Booth delivered his final public address at the Royal Albert Hall in London. This speech, which has become known as the 'I'll Fight' speech, is a call to social action and social justice, which is central to the work and mission of The Salvation Army.
